In early 2009, Dover announced its decision to consolidate its New York headquarters and its four business segment headquarters located across the U.S. to the Chicago area. In July 2009, Dover opened a temporary office in Oak Brook, Illinois. In May 2010, the company opened its new corporate headquarters in Downers Grove, Illinois. VZ Communications was hired to manage the relocation project from beginning to end. The project was completed under budget and on time.
